Hostal Condestable - Madrid

The location is quite central. There were noise issues from the street, made it difficult to relax. This place is suitable for budget travelers who spend most of their time out and don't mind some inconveniences.

There is a renovation going on in the downstairs of the building.

Cheap room and staff is always incredibly kind and pleasant.

the setting is incredible and good, so close to callao as well as the centre.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay as the Hostal Condestable is located just a five-minute walk from Gran Vía and Plaza del Sol. The cleanliness of the rooms and daily tidying up were appreciated, too.

The staff were top-class, and the public parking was available. Very central location near Callao subway station, and many cafes, restaurants, and supermarket, it was in a very very nice area.

Loved the super convenient location. It's tucked away in a cute back street 🏙️ Unfortunately, the front door buzzer was tricky to find, and the room had a strange smell.

My stay here was fairly nice. The hotel was lovely, even so I stayed for 1 night only. The location was favourable, close to an iconic street. The venue was located about 5 minutes walk from center.

Great location! Rooms are basic but tidy, and I loved the hot shower after a long day out.

The hotel is situated over a club and the nights were extremely noisy during the weekend. The soundproof quality of the windows is very poor and even the cleaning actions of the streets prove to be very noisy at 6 am.

Easy walk to major sights, cinemas, cafes and restaurants. 5 minute walk from Callao metro stop. Very clean, airy and comfortable room. Good wifi reception in room. Shared bathrooms are spotless. Friendly staff.

central gem with easy access to parks and landmarks

I really enjoyed how close this place was to Gran Vía and the beautiful parks nearby, made my weekend strolls good. There's a charming cafe just across the street which added to the experience.
